Workshop leading

Aside from the Fundamentals of Design course at the Faculty of Design I run workshop courses for many institutions and different groups of participants. I have done workshops for: students, school-age students,  disabled kids, elderly people and many more.
Organisations:
I led the workshops for organizations such as ÉSAD Orléans – École supérieure d’art et de design – France, Łódź Design Festival, Copernicus Science Centre, Association of Creative Initiatives “ę”, BWA Tarnów – contemporary art gallery, Pavilion Wola Innovations and Creations Poznan, Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, Modern Art Days, Trzyrzecze Theater Bialystok, Warsaw Uprising Museum, Open Form Foundation in Wroclaw, National Museum in Warsaw, Sichuan Fine Arts Institute.
My courses are focused on the development of the observation skills and teamwork as the means to conceptualize requirements, make proper designs and create full-size mock-ups. Through a hands-on experience with raw materials and an in-depth exploration of human scale, students develop an understanding of design and engineering principles, and familiarize themselves with the notions of ergonomics.
Goals:
– Development of observation skills
– Group cooperation in research, designing and production of a prototype
– Intuitive exploration of ergonomics and constructing
– Working with material in the real-life size
– Skillful presentation of one’s own product
